Lower & road test
Park safely on level ground. Find the front or rear coil spring where Zaami will sit between the coils.
Use original Zaami buffer only
Use a jack and jack stands at the manufacturer points. Never work under a car supported only by a jack.
Use original Zaami buffer only
Measure the coil spring gap on the front and rear suspension using your finger to determine the correct size.
Use original Zaami buffer only
Wipe mud, rust flakes, and grease from the coil gap so Zaami seats firmly without slipping.
Use original Zaami buffer only
Insert Zaami safely between the coil springs using suitable tools. Ensure proper alignment and secure fitment.
Use original Zaami buffer only
Push until each buffer sits centered in the coil gap. Fit front and rear as below.
Front suspension
Install 2 Zaami buffers on each spring. They can be positioned in the 1st or 2nd suitable coil gap, as per the spring design and available gap. With two front springs, 4 buffers are required in total.
Rear suspension
Install 2 Zaami buffers on each rear spring, leaving one coil gap from the bottom. Position the two buffers opposite to each other for balanced support. With two rear springs, 4 buffers are required in total.
Use original Zaami buffer only
With the vehicle jacked up, Zaami should move slightly freely — not too tight and not too loose. After lowering the vehicle, check again. If Zaami still moves too freely, use the next larger size for a proper fit.
Use original Zaami buffer only
Lower the vehicle slowly. Take a short drive and re-check seating after 20–30 km.
